Thanks Alan!

Not too much funny about this week but life must go on.

Yesterdays Gonzo hearing was a farce and today the malicious little twit still has his job.

One has to wonder, will the regime change we so desire right here, ever happen?

Lets have some keyboard fun!!

On the previous thread last night, I mentioned Karl Rove's on-going program of voter suppression.

Rove's plan, ultimately, is to take away our right to vote. Voter fraud is a manufactured, phoney issue. Bush is sticking with Gonzales because it's part of the busheviks' plan to create an electorate in their own image, with the help of U.S. attorneys chosen for their ideology and cooperation.

Get involved at the local level. Find out what your precinct, county, town, city, state are doing to protect your vote. The clock is ticking.

Thought I would try something different.

DEN said...

Micki, they are ALL up to no good!
Vote suppression is not getting the attention it deserves.

Something is up with these idiots, chimpies latest 'comprimise' is just to make him look like Mr. niceguy, meanwhile the machine rolls on instilling more fascist policy into government every single day.

You're right, keep an eye on the locals to make sure they don't cheat and leave people behind in the polls.

Voting rights attorney Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has called for prison time for the new US Attorney for Arkansas, Timothy Griffin and investigation of Griffin’s former boss, Karl Rove, chief political advisor to President Bush.

“Timothy Griffin,” said Kennedy,”who is the new US attorney in Arkansas, was actually the mastermind behind the voter fraud efforts by the Bush Administration to disenfranchise over a million voters through ‘caging’ techniques - which are illegal.”

[Hear Kennedy on Griffin, Rove and ‘caging lists’ below or here]

Kennedy based his demand on the revelations by BBC reporter Greg Palast in the new edition of his book, “Armed Madhouse.” On one page of the book, Palast reproduces a copy of a confidential Bush-Cheney campaign email, dated August 26, 2004, in which Griffin directs Republican operatives to use the ‘caging’ lists.

@ Greg Palast

Elaborating on what you said Micki, here is the nasty truth behind supposed 'voter fraud', more like fraud perpetrated on voters.

This may not seem like a BIG deal, but to me it is. I think GWB's 'gaffe' at the white-tie dinner in the Queen's honor was deliberate, planned, and orchestrated! It was a very public way for him to play to the GOP BASE. The 'gaffe' and the list of special guests were meant to show the BASE that they are a very, very important part of American 'Culture' GOP-style.

I'm not bashing sports or sports fans, but with the exception of violinist Itzhak Perlman, who performed after dinner, the bush SPECIAL GUEST list included a jockey, a 78-year old golfer, a football quarterback, and a retired football player. I guess a NASCAR driver couldn't attend?

When the Kennedys were in the WH, Jackie invited cellist Pablo Casals, one of the most celebrated musicians of the 20th century to dinner; violinist Isaac Stern, pianist Eugene Istomin, cellist Leonard Rose, etc. Jackie wanted to create a stage of intellecutal and artistic excellence of the American Republic. The Kennedys hosted a dinner to honor the 49 living Nobel Prize Winners of the Western Hemisphere.

Laura is a librarian. Couldn't she at least invite one renowned American author to dinner?

Dumb and dumber.....

CBS fires Gen. Batiste over VoteVets ad.

The chimpster has NO class, simple as that.

His dumbass shtick is a product of a drug and booze addled mind, and not even slightly entertaining.

Laura the literary queen? HA! thats funny.

I do not mind dissing her pompousness the queen either, what a snob! Obsolete as a Dodo bird,
could not hold down a job at Blockbuster, no wonder we kicked their asses out during the Revolutionary War.

Before his untimely death in a plane crash, Commerce Secretary Ron Brown said, “I’m not Hillary’s mother-f****** tour guide!”

That wasn’t a nice thing for a member of the President’s cabinet to say about the First Lady, now my Senator, Hillary Clinton.

And it’s probably not polite for me to bring it up now. But if I don’t, surely the Karl Rovarians will - if Senator Mrs. Clinton nails the Presidential nomination.

Also @ Greg Palast

A MUST READ for anyone open minded enough to accept the fact that 'Ole Hill' is as big of a ripoff as the rest of the professional politicos.

DEN said...

Greg Palast makes so much sense as an investigative reporter, why can't there be more like him with an ear of the MSM, oops, I forgot the MSM is fascist controlled, dang!

Better visit You Tube for the reports.

DEN said...

Micki, from earlier, Gen. Batiste being fired by CBS shows how entrenched the media has become to fascism.

VoteVets are military advocates, war or no war, so from that frame of reference it makes sense that someone promoting fascist belief would 'fire' someone who would go against that belief and consider them a threat to their cause.

Ok, our pal Wayne Madsen has hit the scandal jackpot with the outing of deadeye dick who's phone number just so happened to appear on Ms. Palfrey's phone list, ABC scrubbed their DC madam story, and combined with the earlier generals' firing makes for interesting reading.

ABC and CBS are so far certified fascist tools, along with the known chief fascist tool FAUX News, narrows the media "truthiness" factor.

micki said...

Den, I think it is a bit over the top to say that CBS and ABC are fascist tools. There are a hell of a lot of good, hard-working journalists doing the best they can under the circumstances, and yoke, of corporate media owners.

I have no idea if Wayne Madsen's "reporting" is accurate on the DC madame story or not -- and frankly, I don't give a rat's ass if deadeye dick's name is on the list -- but the reality is Madsen is a freelancer, without editorial oversight, and he is 'free' to say whatever the hell he pleases, often w/o adequate sourcing. Very often!

It is quite possible that the DC Madame, herself, was reined in on this by her lawyers and by the legal system and that ABC decided to go on to other more important stories for now. And who knows? Perhaps ABC is working on a whole new angle to the story?

Wayne Madsen is a self-promoting one man band. He's often wrong, but never in doubt. Plus, his sourcing stinks! His reporting is full of innuendo and heresay. Not good.

I agree. I still have his site bookmarked, but I never go there anymore.

BuzzFlash Hypocrite of the Week

May 11, 2007

Paul Wolfowitz

Welcome back to the BuzzFlash GOP Hypocrite of the Week.

One of the key architects of the Iraq War, Paul Wolfowitz got kicked upstairs to head the World Bank. Too bad for the poor of the planet, who continue to be victims of an entity that is really just a front for further indebting Third World countries to multinational corporations.

Like all the Busheviks, Wolfowitz believes that when he acts corruptly, he has too much integrity to be accused of being a crook.

So, when he arranged for his lover to get a sweetheart financial deal, Wolfowitz played the victim -- per standard Bushevik operating procedure -- and accused people of slandering him.

We doubt whether Wolfowitz's estranged wife will get any of the money that the Wolfman and his gal pal will enjoy, but Wolfie is as indignant as a pig in a poke that anyone would think he was a crook.

Bush, of course, stands by the Wolfman, just as he backs Gonzales. When you are married to the mob, your hit men can start singing like birds if you cut them loose.

Wolfowitz helped lie America into a war that has cost hundreds of thousands of lives and hundreds of billions of dollars. What's a few hundred thousand greenbacks pocketed to feather his love nest?

At least the Wolfman didn't kill anyone this time.

But once a hypocrite, always a hypocrite, in matters of war or love.

Until next week, remember our motto: So many Republican hypocrites, so little time.

Catch up with you soon.

* * *

This is Paul Wolfowitz's first HOTW Award. Welcome to the Club.

OH you guys!

Fellow frogs in the frypan called America.

Small signs are everywhere, not just Madsen. People have lost control of their government and BIG business has taken over, got some coffee to smell here, I know you are awake.

All the elements of full blown fascism are being put in place every single day by corporations who's only need is the gross consumption of profits.

BIG NEWS is no different, they answer to the advertisers, guess who they are? BIG CORPORATE INTERESTS, count Pharma ads, count oil company ads, on and on.

They abandoned the American workers in favor of $2 a month workers overseas, for profits, do you really think they will give that up when they can use those profits to buy more and own more and pretty soon they tell YOU what to buy, opps they do that already, control the laws meant to protect consumers because they affect...PROFITS.

Don't think we are safe here in America, thats what they spend profits fooling you into believing.

Our forefathers set out with a plan for a new country, a new plan, a democracy, they gave us the tools to use to keep it going, right now those tools are being 'disappeared' and we are told,"they do not address the problems of today", wrongo pal, who are you trying to fool?

I like anyone that fights the system and can beat them at their own game, Wayno slings it and so does Palast, waving warning flags is an honorable profession, sources are important and must be verifiable of course but in deadeye dicks case, a blind man could see that phone numbers don't lie.

That ot to get things going!

My Momma didn't raise a dummy!

Ok I'll go,

Need sleep you know,

have to fight the fascists,

but it will wait til tomorrow.

micki said...

Don't "oh you guys" me, Den! ;-)

There is much to be upset about with the so-called mainstream media, but the fact is that we still get some pretty damned good information from MSM -- information that is sourced, vetted, edited, etc.

Greg Palast is a cut above Wayne Madsen, but...a matter of degree...

When the day comes that all the media haters get what they think they want, we are going to be in a world of hurt.

Frankly, that is bullshit that "big" news media answers to Big Pharma -- the media are relentless in their reporting on bad medicines, skewed studies, faulty reports, etc. It seems everyday, there's another story reported about Big Pharma's MAJOR F**K UPS -- in MSM, I might add.

P.S. I don't give a damn if dick's # was on the list. dick and what he does with it is unimportant to me.
