Bird Brains

Sunny Sunday! Make way for Bird Brains.

A bit lighter faire to keep from plunging into the depths of depression over the current political goings on.

Don't bother with the Sunday talking heads, I looked and they are all.......Bird Brains!

Time to get ready to visit my friend Mr. Eagle.

He's a REAL bird brain.

First, Den, enjoy your commune with nature.

I have a joke for everyone.

The other night, in Memphis, Tennessee, the owner of a great dane, you probably saw this on the news. The guy puts his gun on the table. His dog jumps up on the table, hits the gun, it goes off, and shoots the guy in the back.

It's Michael Vicks worst nightmare--a dog that can defend himself.

Whoops! That joke is by Jay Leno, Aug. 2.

I love to view nature and to walk with nature but I am in a differnet mood this Sunday after watching Encore Drama and the show, "Why We Fight?"

Encore Drama

Dear Nazi Americans:

For this post I have addressed my letter as Nazi Americans. Yes, we are all Nazi Americans. I was watching Encore Drama. I do not know if it was East or West. We had a new television delivered after a twenty-nine year love affair with our old television. All that I can say is what a difference!!! I was watching, “Why We Fight?”

We fight now in our American culture to promote and sustain Imperialism. We are no longer fighting to promote Democracy. Richard Perle, the high ranking Nazi, said that we have changed as a people. Even with a regime change Nazi America will never go back to our former American idealism of life, liberty, freedom, and the pursuit of happiness. America, as we have known it, has changed forever. I believe that Richard Perle is absolutely right. Yes, we are all Nazi Americans.

We can all go to worship on a particular day but after church we will revert back to our Nazi American and evil ways, regime change or no regime change.

Our continuing state of denial as to whom we are as a people will never change. We, as Nazi Americans, live for mass murders, torture, continuing and endless wars, and war crimes. We are a blood-sucking breed of people. We are truly evil and we will never change, church or no church. Hypocrisy is deeply rooted into our psyches. We are who we are, “Born to kill, rape, and plunder against humanity.” We are a greedy and a selfish people.

Your fellow Nazi American,

How did I get from fascism to Christian fundamentalism? By way of the book, “American Fascists: The Christian Right and the War on America”, Chris Hedges.

I had come to the same conclusions in my thinking as Chris Hedges in this book, but Hedges documented all of his assertions. The quote from the back cover of his book states very succinctly what I have been trying to put together here, “Dr. James Luther Adams, my ethics professor at Harvard Divinity School, told us that when we were his age – he was then close to 80 – we would all be fighting the ‘Christian fascists’.”

“The warning, given to me nearly 25 years ago, came at the moment Pat Robertson and other radio and televangelists began speaking about a new political religion that would direct is efforts at taking control of all institutions, including mainstream denominations and the government. Its stated goal was to use the United States to create a global Christian empire. It was hard, at the time, to take such fantastic rhetoric seriously, especially given the buffoonish quality of leaders in the Christian Right who expounded it. But Adams warned us against the blindness caused by intellectual snobbery. The Nazis, he said were not gong to return with swastikas and brown shirts. Their ideological inheritors in America had found a mask for fascism in patriotism and the pages of the Bible.”

The Nazi American leadership is using the Bible, God's love letter to us, to circumvent the words of the Bible for a global Nazi takeover of our minds, bodies, and souls.

To sustain our Nazi American way of life we will have to promote mass murders, torture, and war crimes!!!!!

Gerald said...

DEN, we should all be stewards of the environment but that is not the Nazi American way of doing things.

Gerald said...

Here is Nazi American thought processes. Nazi Americans love to see and live for the nuclear vaporization of babies' human flesh against the walls, streets, and roads in all foreign countries.

These thought processes are becoming a reality with each passing day.

Yes, my fellow Nazi Americans, we have changed for the worst in us as an enslaved people to mass murders, torture, and war crimes!!!!!

Please read this article and realize that Iran is not the problem in the Middle East but our MSM will never let Nazi Americans know the truth because we have changed forever as a people.

Afghanistan Claims Iran is Helping Them

by Timothy V. Gatto Page 1 of 1 page(s)

Today Hamid Karzi was on Wolf Blitzer’s “Late Edition” on CNN, and when asked by Blitzer if Iran has been supplying arms to “foreign fighters” and was Iran actually harming or helping the Afghani government of Karzi. He also asked whether or not they were a negative or a positive factor in the “war on terror”. Karzi didn’t blink and answered that Iran has great relations with Afghanistan and that they are actually helping with the war and that they were a positive influence. Wow.

Now Karzi is meeting today with Bush. I wonder what the Administration will do to cover up that bit of good publicity for Iran? Will the Bush Administration ask him to change his mind about what he told Blitzer? Will they come up with a new “spin” on what Karzi actually meant to say? This statement by Karzi needs to get the utmost coverage by the MSM. Not only will it show Americans that Cheney and his rush to blame every sort of disaster on the Iranians, but it will also do wonders to defuse the tensions between Iran and the US. Cheney can’t very well attack an “ally” of this “War on Terror” in Afghanistan now, could he?

He could very well continue if the lamesrtream media buries what Karzi said. I imagine that’s exactly what they will do. Who is it that tells the media what they can hype and what they can’t? What I’m saying here is who are the actual person or persons that will go to CNN or CBS or the other major networks and say “Don’t make an issue out of that.” Is it the NSA or some other governmental agency? Somebody has got to be influencing our MSM. If this were to have happened, say in the 70’s, there would be hell to pay and a horde of reporters would be gathering evidence of Iran helping Afghanistan.

Not today, just about the only place that you will see this is what you are reading here and what you will read about it at other “Progressive Sites”. The information just doesn’t fit the “template” of the configuration of the world according to BushCo. Let’s see how much coverage we get out of that statement from the leader of Afghanistan about the help he has been receiving from Iran. I believe him it makes sense. Iran doesn’t want anything to do with Sunni al Qaeda.

Dear Posters:

I am at my computer and I am looking out the window. I recall some recent posts that I have shared with you. The most disturbing post was the realization that on July 24, 2007 I came to grips with the fact that it is all over for our democracy and our republic. We are now an enslaved banana republic in the hands of a despotic dictator. I can only say to my country, THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES.

Bush says that we are at war. He wants to impose his will on us and he is succeeding. The wait for a police state is over because the police state is upon us.

I want to apologize to all the posters. I only wish that I could have done more to stop the Nazi takeover of my country. All I can do now as the last man leaving the room is to turn off the lights. Once again I will say to my country, THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES.

From Bill Moyers last paragraph, "Pass the Bread" at a commencement speech for undergraduates!

It was dated May or June, 2006.

Civilization sustains and supports us. The core of its value is bread. But bread is its great metaphor. All my life I've prayed the Lord's Prayer, and I've never prayed, "Give me this day my daily bread." It is always, "Give us this day our daily bread." Bread and life are shared realities. They do not happen in isolation. Civilization is an unnatural act. We have to make it happen, you and I, together with all the other strangers. And because we and strangers have to agree on the difference between a horse thief and a horse trader, the distinction is ethical. Without it, a society becomes a war against all, and a market for the wolves becomes a slaughter for the lambs. My generation hasn't done the best job at honoring this ethical bargain, and our failure explains the mess we're handing over to you. You may be our last chance to get it right. So good luck, Godspeed, enjoy these last few hours together, and don't forget to pass the bread.

The Lord's Prayer stresses inclusion and not exclusion for all of God's children.

God wanted for all of us to share our daily bread. Why should we hoard it?

From Friday's blog:

This "nony" person was very funny. Carol, you too.

The evangelicals successfully infiltrated the school system and governing boards as well as the military. Makes one just shiver.

Back to today. Gerald, I remember your proclamation on July 24. We've been forced to endure such deep levels of anger.

I feel safe in assuming we'd all prefer to get away from these uncomfortable, raging vexations yesterday.

Hi, everyone. We actually had some rain overnight. Temp has been down to around 71°. Quite a drop from the 90s. But THANK goodness it's supposed to get hot again tomorrow. Phew.

I turned on Stephanopolous and he was presiding over a debate? With the repugs. I tuned in late so I don't know if it was live or taped. Anyway, it is really, REALLY hard to listen to repugs talk. Horrible people. Wish I'd counted how many of them said how awful having "socialized medicine" would be. Yeah, it would be bad for business!

One of them said the U.S. couldn't handle it, another said we should ask the people in Canada, Great Britain and France how they like it. Blah, blah, blah. What a bunch of losers. Not a one of them can win. Romney is nothing but a hoot to me. Amazing how being the king of ALL flip floppers doesn't seem to bother anyone. He makes me grit my teeth when I see him!

Well, hope you all had a nice weekend. :)
