Stinks like S**t

The White House on Tuesday flatly denied an Army Radio report that claimed US President George W. Bush intends to attack Iran before the end of his term. It said that while the military option had not been taken off the table, the Administration preferred to resolve concerns about Iran's push for a nuclear weapon "through peaceful diplomatic means."

Army Radio had quoted a top official in Jerusalem claiming that a senior member in the entourage of President Bush, who concluded a trip to Israel last week, had said in a closed meeting here that Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney were of the opinion that military action against Iran was called for.

The official reportedly went on to say that "the hesitancy of Defense Secretary Robert Gates and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice" was preventing the administration from deciding to launch such an attack on the Islamic Republic for the time being.

The Army Radio report, which was quoted by The Jerusalem Post and resonated widely, stated that according to assessments in Israel, the recent turmoil in Lebanon, where Hizbullah has de facto established control of the country, was advancing an American attack.

Bush, the official reportedly said, considered Hizbullah's show of strength to constitute evidence of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's growing influence. In Bush's view, the official said, "the disease must be treated - not its symptoms."

Last chance to cause tragic circumstances enough to bring on Armageddon there Chimp.

The real terroristas are the freaks on 1600 Pennsylvania Ave and the freaks running Israel. Totally stark raving mad with greed and power.

Let us not forget who started this whole escapade in 1948 and who supported the terrorist invaders and continue to do so, and intend to make it much worse.

Leave a rotten stinking steaming pile of s**t for someone else to clean up, that is if there is anything left.

Will Congress grow some and put the brakes on the lunatics plans? Stay tuned.

From Chuck Brodsky

Chuck Brodsky

He Came To Our Town

He came to our town
For maybe an hour
The streets all got swept
And they planted some flowers
Babies he kissed
To the people he waved
And he stopped
At a Civil War General's grave

He struck just the right pose
He hit just the right chord
When he spoke of the family
And then of the Lord
He addressed the concerns
Of the common man
And he spoke of the glory
Of this mighty land

He had just the right color
His smile was fixed
His wardrobe assembled
From a bagful of tricks
He had gobs of make-up
Caked on his face
Starch in his collar
Every hair was in place

His wife stood beside him
His daughter did too
And behind them, a flag
With the red, white, and blue
Balloons from the rafters
Fell to the floor
Oh, Happy Days
Were gonna be here once more

He could sell you a war
He could revoke your rights
And still come off as your friend
In the camera lights
He'll run negative ads
If he has to to win
He'll go back on his word
He'll shed his old skin

He said all the right words
Quoted Bob Dylan songs
He sounded hip
Even though he quoted them wrong
His closets were cleaned
And his history revised
So his record would be spotless
To most people's eyes

I wasn't touched
By this guy in the least
He was no savior
Nor was he the beast
I have to admit
That they staged a good show
It was all reminiscent
Of four years ago

He came to our town
For maybe an hour
The streets all got swept
And they planted some flowers
Babies he kissed
To the people he waved
And he stopped
At a Civil War General's grave

And after an hour
They whisked him away
Things went back to normal
Over two or three days
The homeless returned
To living outside
And the flowers that got planted
All wilted and died

He came to our town
For maybe an hour
The streets all got swept
And they planted some flowers

Howdy. Had a root canal today. After this now, it's all over.

One more bit of news, escrow has closed, I'm in. I reckon that means I'll be tied up even more than I have been.

Waiting for Obama to speak tonight.

This does not look good...

High food prices could last three years: World Bank official

And even then the prices probably won't drop that far, measured in U.S. dollars. Why not?

Are you HOME, yet?

CNN and NBC conceded KY to Hillary at about the same time...

They also announce BHO had won enough "Pledged Delegates" in KY to give him the majority of available delegates in state whose democratic parties abided by the rules.

Hillary got almost 1/4 million more "popular" votes than Obama in KY.

Oregon will likely be tighter, but after squeezing in the necessary delegates in KY, the rest is a smooth ride down the 'ol dirt road.

(was ALL of that innuendo...and out the udder?)

My mom made her special Kentucky biscuits for me while I was there...

I never could develop a taste for that Kentucky jelly, though!

Kentucky jelly?

Obama is giving a speech right now. At "Crooks..." there's a hella clip of Waxman threatening to have a repug physically removed from the EPA hearing. "YAY"

At "Think Progress" there's a couple of good clips. One of James Baker saying talking to enemies IS NOT APPEASEMENT. And then he gives an example of his SIXTEEN trips to Syria for daddy Bush. Also, there's a clip of dipshit Romney making a fool of himself talking about no president would even THINK of talking to 'enemy' heads of state during his first year in office. Included Putin in the list... and didn't know or forgot that dumya met with Putin during bush's first year in office.
These guys are desparate for SOMETHING to smear Obama with. No matter how stupid or idiotic they sound, there's a ton of lock-step idiots that'll follow what they say. Non-thinking robots. ugh!

Moving plans begin right away.

I'm still trying to figure out why they sent Hajji to Kentucky. I'm sure you've probably talked about it here, I've been so dang busy.

I mean geez, Tom had to go through all that racist crapola--worse than in his home state--why? Obama wasn't campaigning much in Kentucky.

After this, I've come to have a newfound outlook on Kentucky and its bluegrass.

I volunteered...my home state, my hometown, Mom's cooking, etc...

I'm hangin up my "politickin' boots" for a while.

I can't blame the campaign for the people who are idiots, but when its over, remind me to talk about the EFFORTS in KY and WV...

Finished with saving the world, this round...

Time to make the donuts.

(p.s. Benson, KY Jelly on yer biscuits might help 'em go down smooth, but does nothing for the TASTE!)
